Grant application submitted

The Strathcona Regional District (SRD) made an application to the Canada-British Columbia Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program – Community, Culture and Recreation Stream in an effort to offset costs.  A building reserve fund was established in 2016 to help pay for the costs of renewal however additional sources of funding are required.  This is a rare opportunity to obtain external funding for recreation infrastructure and should the grant application be successful, construction could begin in late 2020.
